Though these moms are both New Yorkers, they met at their children's Elementary School in Encino, California...

Sheryl owns Stage Door Promotions and has been in the Advertising Specialties business for six years. Some of her television clients include Deadwood, NCIS, JAG, Deadliest Catch, Lifetime Television and The WB to name a few. She also provides Spirit Wear and supplies to over fifteen schools through out the US.

Katrina is a screenplay writer and has twelve years experience in the film, television and theater business on the production and development side. She recently wrote her first book, Cool! You're Pregnant and is feature writer for LA Parent Magazine and momready.com.  She and her husband, actor, Russell Andrews, produce theater through their company, StageWalkers Productions.

Soon after Katrina wrote several articles about the harms of paper and plastic grocery bags she came up with this environmental/fundraising idea for her daughter's school. She went to Sheryl with the idea and as they worked out the details, other friends told them that they wanted to do the same fundraiser at their schools. Within weeks, the buzz grew and with nearly ten schools wanting more information, they realized that this was a great opportunity for them to help the environment while providing schools and various organizations with a new fundraiser. So along with giving birth to five children between them, their new baby is Earthtotes.
